Biography

Born in Southern California, B.A. in Philosophy and Comparative Literature from the University of California ,.

Masters Degree in Philosophy from Columbia University in New York City specializing in Ethics and Moral Philosophy.

After teaching for several years, in Southern California College, a move to Paris, France, earning a Doctorate in Philosophy (with honors) from the Sorbonne . Doctorial thesis entitled “Human Responsibility and Moral Freedom,” exploring the philosophy of J.P. Sartre and the Existentialists.

B.A. in Psychology from the Southern California University for Professional Studies , (June 2006) to complement training in Philosophical Consulting.

Became a Certified Philosophical Counsellor by the American Philosophical Practitioners Association, under the training of Lou Marinoff, author of the best seller “Plato not Prozac” and Michael Russel, a psychoanalyst and pioneer in philosophical practice.

For the last five years, assisting Gale Prawda, as facilitator for Café Philos, as well as presenting thematic philosophical discussions in Paris.

Since 2000, employed with the Fondation 93, and the French National Education system, in a program directed towards making philosophy accessible to students at the secondary level in inner-city schools.

Actively serving as a Philosophy practitioner for the last decade in France.
